Space Invaders Extreme hands-on at IGN.

"Space Invaders has been remade to death over the years, but of all the different ways developers have tried to update the classic, what Taito's got cooking for 2008 simply blows all of those attempts away. Space Invaders Extreme was an incredible surprise from Taito, and I can't wait to play the final product when it ships next year.

Space Invaders is Taito's big classic, but it's so old and behind the times, so any update really has to be something special to gain notice. Activision's update from a half decade ago was solid, but Taito's own update for the game's 30th anniversary looks to be something absolutely spectacular."
