"One of the surprises at Capcom's recent press event was a playable version of its newly announced Apollo Justice Ace Attorney title. The game is a continuation of the popular Phoenix Wright series but features a new focus on up-and-coming trial lawyer Apollo Justice. We had the chance to try out a playable work-in-progress version of the DS game--dubbed the mock-trial version--that featured one case, "The Turnabout Trump," with some very familiar faces."

"As the first series entry created specifically for DS (the Phoenix Wright games were enhanced Game Boy Advance ports), Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice shakes the foundations of the popular handheld lawyer sim by thrusting a rookie protagonist into the spotlight...though old man Phoenix isn't entirely out of sight.
Instead, he's on the other side of the courtroom, accused in the game's initial mission of killing a man over a game of cards. Wright chooses Apollo Justice as his defense attorney, helping to shape the young lawyer's skills as the game progresses. A bevy of over-the-top auxiliary characters, including magician Trucy and prosecutor/rock star Klavier Gavin, flesh out the cast and help provide a new experience for series veterans to dig into."
