Boogie DS impressions at Joystiq.
"The dancing-puppet game, Boogie, launches on the DS this "holiday" season. The portable version of the title has more game in it (read: objectives and losing conditions). But after briefly playing, it still seems aimed close at the casual market Boogie (Wii) courted; rhythm fans might want to pass."

Boogie DS hands-on at Pocketgamer.co.uk.
"As much fun as it is, dancing can certainly be hard work. Between moving your body to the beat, maintaining your good looks and catching the eye of that special lady (or gent), a lot of sweat goes into something that's intended to look effortless.
Still, leave it to EA to strip away the pain and get us down to the fun stuff. Ditching dance shoes for a stylish, er, stylus, Boogie had us impressed following our hands-on at Electronic Arts' recent Studio Showcase event."

Boogie DS hands-on at IGN.
"Boogie on the Wii has hit the scene with mixed results from critics and gamers, as the "sandbox" design for the music experience is a hit or miss on the "casual" focused Nintendo console. But even though the debut of Electronic Arts' original IP hasn't bowled over the public, the company's not ready to throw in the towel with the concept: there's a Nintendo DS version on the way, and we played it at EA's event earlier today."

Boogie DS hands-on at Gamespot.
"Boogie for the Wii was an interesting concept, but thanks to an overly simple dance mechanic and a karaoke mode that could be fooled by blowing into the microphone, it's fair to say it didn't make for a great game. Well, forget what you know about Boogie for the Wii--or at least most of what you know about it--because the game has been reworked and is headed to the Nintendo DS."
