Fish Tycoon review at IGN.

"Oh Nintendogs, what have you done to gaming? It seems like every other title released on the DS lately involves passively observing some animal or creature, skimping on gameplay with the assumption that the animal's personality will make the experience worthwhile. Majesco's Fish Tycoon is a game that succeeds as a virtual aquarium but fails at pretty much everything else."

Fish Tycoon preview at 1-up.

"There have been tycoons of every kind in video games, like zoos, roller coasters, and railroads, but who would have thought people would want a game where you breed tropical fish? It's a simple concept, but Fish Tycoon (which was previously a popular PC download) invites players to decorate their tank, sell fish, and discover new breeds along the way."

Fish Tycoon hands-on at IGN.

"Quick, off the top of your head, name all the Tycoon games! If your answer didn't start with "Railroad Tycoon" you're probably too young to remember the days when Tycoon games didn't exist. Back then gamers had to play Sim games, and they had to walk 15 miles in the snow to buy them! Where were we? Oh right, Tycoon games. More specifically new Tycoon games, and even more specifically, Fish Tycoon for the Nintendo DS. Majesco brought us a copy and dipped our fins into the aquarium sim turned fish-profiteering title."
