"If you're a fan of the long-running Bomberman series, you might already be familiar with Bomberman Land Touch!, which was released exclusively for the Nintendo DS in 2006. If you played that game, then all you really need to know about the upcoming sequel is that it'll offer much more of the same. If you missed out the first time around, keep reading because we've got our hands on a near-finished copy of Bomberman Land Touch 2! and have had a lot of fun with it."

"Bomberman Land Touch! was arguably the best single-player Bomberman experience. And from the looks of Bomberman Land Touch! 2, it seems to be carrying that argument along quite well. Gone is the pirate theme from the first Touch game, as the sequel goes back to the carnival stylings of the original Bomberman Land games. There are still plenty of new minigames, though, some of which are more like brain teasers. For example, in one, you pick out the differences in two similar scenes scrolling by on either screen. It's harder than it sounds, especially if one of your opponents is faster at glancing than you are. Touch! 2 doesn't stray too far from the precedent, but that could very well be more of a blessing than a curse."

"Bomberman Land Touch was a huge success on DS, and Hudson Entertainment is upping the ante with Bomberman Land Touch 2, headed to Nintendo DS in January of 2008. As a sequel to our own "Best Online Multiplayer" game of 2006, Bomberman Land Touch 2 follows the same design, but goes bigger in every area. Included this time around are 40 mini-games, tons of multiplayer, and even more customization."
