Chronos Twin review at Nintendo World Report.

"Chronos Twins introduces the novel concept of simultaneous gameplay on the top and bottom screens of the DS. It is essentially a 2D shooter, styled after retro platformer/shooters of the same type."

Chronos Twin interview at WiiDS.co.uk.

"Cheng: How would Chronos Twins differentiate itself from other side-scrolling action games such as old school Metroid?

Moruno: Chronos Twins offer a new system in which we control the main character in two different temporal lines (past and present), Nec has the power of duplicate himself in time thanks to the Dual Time Machine. Also, the player will have to solve logic puzzles using the temporal changes and face original enemies."

Chronos Twin video review at Gonintendo.

Chronos Twin review at Pocketgamer.co.uk.

"The writer and lecturer John Vorhaus recommends that you use something called the 'rule of ten' when trying to come up with a fresh idea. Essentially, this means that if you want to create something – from a film to a business to a book to a game – you should write down ten ideas instead of one, because for every one idea that bears fruit in the world there are nine duffers screwed up on the floor."

Chronos Twin review at Zentendo.

"Chronos Twin, not to be confused with the Chrono Trigger series, blends arcade shooting with platforming rather nicely. Originally destined for the Gameboy Advance, the game was ported over to the DS platform the moment they found out about the dual screens. Taking a few years to port a game is rarely done, but in this case it was all for the better as without the careful use of the Nintendo DS, this game would be nothing."

Chronos Twin review at N+.

"N+ have been following the development of Chronos Twin on the DS for over a year. The game takes advantage of the handheld's two screens to create a unique time-travelling platform game that lets you control the action in the past and present simultaneously. We were given the opportunity to play Chronos Twin and get to grips with the game. Two screens, two times, one review."

Chronos Twin review at Eurogamer.

"We first covered Chronos Twin around this time last year in The Indie Scene, leading to bitter tears being unleashed when it was realised that it wasn't a sequel to Chronos Trigger. Starting development on GBA, developers EnjoyUp swiftly moved the project over to DS once the dual screened portable was announced, and not without good reason – you play as two characters simultaneously, one on each screen."

Chronos Twin preview at Nintendo World Report.

"Originally in development for Game Boy Advance, Chronos Twins incorporates time travel as you explore two different temporal dimensions. This is a retro side-scrolling shooter with a difference, gameplay is split onto both screens of the DS, one showing the present and one showing the past."
