It's a Wonderful World preview at 1-up.

"Square Enix's newest original DS game, Subarashiki Kono Sekai (It's a Wonderful World in the U.S.) was recently released in Japan, and we spent a few hours with the final game. It was developed in part by Jupiter, the same company behind Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories on GBA, so it comes from the hands of people who know how to work best with 2D graphics.

The story of the game is a bit confusing at first (check our previous preview for a little bit more on it), but in a nutshell: You play as Neku, a hip kid in a very stylistic version of Tokyo's Shibuya district. Neku has psychic powers, so when a strange supernatural force that will kill him in a matter of days curses him, he goes to defeat the "Noise," a legion of demonic monsters who live in the psychic world. He soon runs into a girl named Shiki who becomes wrapped up in this craziness with him. And it all happens against a soundtrack with lots of hip-hop, techno and pop-inspired tunes -- pretty similar to fellow funky RPG Persona 3, in fact."
